Resumen: El presente trabajo se encuentra orientado a realizar un estudio sobre el interés del menor en la reagrupación familiar. En ese marco, en la primera parte se realiza una exploración sobre el tema. Luego de ello, se analiza el factor migratorio y su relación con la reagrupación familiar. Posteriormente, se estudia la reagrupación familiar en la legislación.
En cuanto al interés del menor, se analiza la unidad y la separación de los hijos. Asimismo, se estudia la preponderancia del factor económico frente al factor emocional en la aplicación de esta figura jurídica. Por su parte, se analiza la integración del menor en el país de acogida, para terminar con una serie de conclusiones y propuestas en función del tema estudiado. En lo que respecta a la metodología se ha recurrido a los métodos analítico, interpretativo y comparativo.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the interest of the child in family reunification. After a brief general introduction to the subject, the present research work studies the migratory factor and its relationship with family reunification. Subsequently, family reunification in the legislation is analyzed. Regarding the interest of the child, the unity and separation of the children are studied. Likewise, the preponderance of the economic factor or the emotional factor in the application of this legal figure is analyzed. Likewise, the integration of the child in the host country is studied. Finally, it concludes with a series of conclusions base on the subject studied. For this purpose, both analytical, interpretative and comparative methods are used in this research paper.
